Simple Home Controller
A simple app for your Insteon and Z-Wave devices using an ISY994i controller.
Supported controller: Universal Devices ISY994i. It does not work with any other controller. I am willing to consider supporting any controller that has a REST API interface. Simple Home Controller allows you to turn on/off and dim/brighten your devices and scenes. It also allows you to run programs and change thermostat settings. It is not intended as a replacement for more advanced programs. Simple Home Controller is not configurable beyond the connection settings and font size - it relies on the configuration of your hardware. Folders, devices, and scenes will appear exactly as listed in your hardware configuration, except that the folder structure will be "flattened" to reduce the number of clicks to get to your devices. This means if you have nested folders on your controller, only the folders containing modules/scenes will be listed. The otherwise empty parent folders will not appear. By default I have left out the ISY group (which contains every module) and the Auto DR group (which is reserved by Universal Devices for meter interfacing). Simple Home Controller does not write to your controller hardware. It cannot mess-up your programming.Added support for Android 11

Works very well for me. I find that I can turn x10 devices off and on more reliably (99% of the time) with this than the UD admin console on the laptop (which makes no sense to me) I have had and used this for over a year now and find it reliable and trouble free when I use it. Thanks for an awesome trouble-free app.
Nothing special... But gets the job done without a monthly fee!
Tried other apps that put more effort into graphics than function and wanted subscription fees. Was hesitant to pay for this without a trial, but found this name inside a scathing review for a competitor. I purchased, installed, connected to my Universal Devices hub, and am now controlling Insteon lights all in less than 60 seconds. Highly recommended. Many thanks.
Very stable, very simple, just does what its supposed to do.
A very functional and stable app. Simple with no flash but well done. I was a Mobilinc user who felt burned by their pricing and quality issues. Simple Home Controller is more stable, easy to use and has great support. The only thing I can't do is set variables (however I can run a program to do this). I am so much more pleased with SHC. Nice work Mad Martian!
Dev is very responsive and quick to fix
This developer is super responsive. I had a question and he gave me a detailed response within a few hours and has offered to update the app.
this app is great, the developer is AMAZING, I had an issue with the app, and, almost immediately he responded, and sent me an email suggesting some fixes, now the app is up and running again. even when I had the free version he was so eager to help, that's why I purchased the app, the best, and fastest one till now. thanx Mike ...
Nice app but needs finer detail for dimmer setting. wdISY is free and has better dimming capability. It looks like this has been requested quite some time ago in the forum so maybe it will be provided at some point.
Developer is very responsive. App gives me a quick view of my devices without clutter.
